Some say that they play on glass harp, others on Angelic organs. But for many they play simply on wine glasses. The Glass Duo was founded by Anna and Arkadiusz Szafraniec.
Their first concert took place in 1997. They started in West Europe and Asia. Finally they found their way also to Polish concert halls and stages. Today they have an extraordinarily wide repertoire and their own loyal audience. They play as a duo, as well as with other musicians, groups and symphony orchestras. They have participated in many TV and radio programs. They have been invited to numerous musical festivals and events both in Poland and abroad.

Their glass harp is their own handiwork. They made it on their own, from first design to the last stage of production. It is probably the biggest glass harp in the world, its range covers 4 and a half octaves. Anna and Arkadiusz Szafraniec are always ready to change, to grow, and to enlarge both their instrument and their own technique. Their aim is to make the glass harp an active component of Polish instrumentation.
Their rich repertoire makes it possible to give classical concerts as well as to participate in projects of a more informal nature. They are also able to utilize their experience gained during years of performing on other instuments - violin and trumpet, on which they play in Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra in Gdansk. They have brought their glass music to the stages of many renowned concert halls. By rejecting stereotypes they have enriched the Polish stage with sounds which are subtle, sophisticated and truly unique.
